Looking to see if anyone can advise on the following. I have 2021 T6.1 with a factory fitted Tachograph Smart EFAS 4.10 V05 (direct into factory wiring loom). Problem is, I wish to remove it, as it sits on top of dash and causes obstruction. Also, I have no need for it.
If I simply unplug it, it knocks out the trip counter and clock on the binnacle display, as well as saying 'error'.
Given that it is factory wired, I suspected it may be coded in from factory, therefore I was hoping it could be coded back out.
I know its probably not a common query, but if anyone can advise, it would be greatly appreciated.
