VW Audi A3 1.9Tdi

All,

After a little help if you can. My son is looking for his first car and looking at an Audi A3. I suggested getting on an Audi forum.
Are any of you on any Audi forums you could suggest or have had A3s. Looking for info on common faults and what to look out for on the 2005 to 2010 1.9 TDI models

1.9 is a great engine - we’ve had two - in an Octavia and Fabia VRS. IIRC near the end of their production run they had DPFs fitted which I’d try and avoid, simply because DPFs are problematic in aged diesels!
