VW assist / breakdown cover question

My van is new enough to still be covered by vw assist. Does anyone know if this would exclude anything important? Eg if my air suspension failed, would they still recover the van, or would they charge? Just deciding whether I need to take up the separate cover on insurance.

I need to check up on this as well, no idea what actual cover I have beyond manufacturer warranty.

I suspect breakdown cover is just that, for breakdown regardless. You'd just need to get it taken to someone who fixes air instead.

Spoke to them and all breakdown covered regardless of mods, at home, uk or Europe. Obviously as said above if it’s out of warranty then what happens next is different but no worries about recovery At least. It’s the AA behind it so I guess as much chance of a roadside fix as any other policy.
