Bit narrower, similar diameter.

Mine is on 265/40/20 but tempted to try 245/45.

The diameter is identical 728 mm , the tyre is the right width at 245 ( 9 inch approx ) , 275 is too wide , !! ( 11 inches approx )

265 40 20 is a size often used on staggered wheels when the suppliers cant be arsed to stagger the tyres as well , 245 45 20 feels so much nicer on the steering , every one who listens to this advice comments on the improvement . Note that running different diameter tyres front to back isnt a major issue unless you have a 4 motion then its critical to get right .

Be brave! Get some 255/35/20 fitted, keep the correct rolling radius

Brave ! but uncomfortable that tyre will loose almost an inch of the side wall of the commonly used 20 inch tyres ,

What size are the wheels ? . There is no match for a 265 40 20 tyre that is narrower for the front ! If you have staggered wheels then 275 40 20 rear and 245 45 20 front are identical diameter .

They aren't staggered, not certain on the width of them. They are Wolfrace Dortmund's.

I'm happy enough with the 265/40 but at the point i need 4 new tyres I'm tempted to try 245/45.
