[VOTE] Spend my money for me

Over the past few months I’ve been skimming a few £ into a savings pot for van spending - that way the wife doesn’t know the full cost iykyk

It’s a T6.1 110 5spd (Delphi ECU not Bosch). It’s on 20” wheels and standard suspension. In my opinion it looks a bit silly. It’s also quite slow compared to my last van which had a Pendle map.

So this is where I need you. Tell me what to spend my money on.

I can’t get spending for both past the wife. So it’s either one or the other. Remap is c.£450-500 and Suspension is c.£1500.

Not an option plus sadly the vans with the power I want seems to eat themselves from the inside (biturbo)

You may well end up eating the clutch / DMF and 5 speed gearbox instead.

Suspension. Will make the van look much better. Speeding in a van is not a good look

Think i'd go for the suspension if that's the more expensive on the list. Remap can come later if you really need it.

Certainly suspension, but that could lead to needing new tyres on the front to avoid rubbage...

Pointless getting the remap if you can't go around bends fast due to the OEM suspension.

This sort of thing is quite personal but I would speak to @CRS Performance and get the suspension done and also get some 18s for it. Not keen on remaps - more hp is very nice but it is a van after all. As @DXX says if the performance really bothers you you probably need to think about changing it for a 150 or 199 with a 6 speed or dsg. But that’s just my opinion.

Hi,

Has anyone else had any issues with Pendle Performance recently?

Currently sat outside for my 1pm appointment and there’s no sign of him.

There was another customer here who’d driven 4 hours for a 9am appointment that was also a no show from Pendle.

No answer on the phone or any other methods of contact.

Wouldn’t mind but he’s had a £50 deposit and made no contact to advise he wouldn’t be open.

There was another customer here who’d driven 4 hours for a 9am appointment that was also a no show from Pendle.

No answer on the phone or any other methods of contact.

Wouldn’t mind but he’s had a £50 deposit and made no contact to advise he wouldn’t be open.

Pretty sure he’s a Forum member, Martin ??? maybe. I can’t imagine a worse job than someone arriving with a donkey expecting to leave with a race horse.
