Victron SmartShunt Configuration

Hi.

I'm using a Fogstar 105ah lithium set up. For the first time we're bypassing the Sargent system and on hook up using a victron IP65 Charger. All works with battery fully charged, but Mr Sunt says no with a big fat 0% reading. What am I doing wrong please? Thanks in advance.

Update... I have synced the shunt in settings to 100%. Not sure this is the solution though?

That's normally the shunt wired wrong, and the charger is bypassing the shunt.

The shunt should be the ONLY THING connected to the LB Neg post..

ALL OTHER negs need to go anywhere else to the chassis, busbar wherever, but not to the battery post.

Post a few pics of the LB and connections and we'll take a look.

Thanks for coming back. I'm away at the mo and only have an old, out of date, wiring diagram as the battery under seat. The portable unit isn't in the mix anymore so ignore that side. It was working fine until on hook up using victron charger. If you recall, you gave me guidance on how to wire in the ip65 to the Sargent spare 240v feed

you need to change the smart shunt settings to Lithium. and change these.





see mine for a Poweroad 100Ah lifepo4 . .

your 13.2v is triggering the shut to reset to 100% (14.0 - 14.4v would be fully charged)

Ahhh. Perhaps I did run the neg direct to the battery , I'll check when home, thanks.
