Various electrical issues!

Hi, new to the forum, looking for any pointers that I can investigate myself before referring to a professional in case it’s an easy fix..

‘17 converted T6 campervan. Had been left for a few weeks and the battery was flat. When re started the Towbar electrics no longer work at all, rear fog lights don’t work and the parking sensors have stopped working through the aftermarket head unit (otherwise functioning normally)

Have checked the standard light fuse, all looks ok.
Can’t work out where the Towbar fuse would be.
Have the light bulb warning light on the dash.

Not sure if this is relevant, but leisure battery is completely dead / getting replaced soon. No fuse for Towbar on the Sargent unit so don’t believe it’s wired through here.

How far have you driven since the flat battery issue? If you are lucky it may resolve itself with a drive

Probably about an hours driving, I’ve been checking intermittently and the rear fog is occasionally working for a couple of minutes so suggests wiring rather than fuse.

I’d disconnect it then, the possibility of the B2B (if fitted) trying to charge a dud may not help matters.

Sounds towbar related to me, all the things that don’t work are things that get disabled by the towbar module when a trailers connected.

I would get both batteries fully charged (just in case something towbar related is powered from the leisure battery) then if you still have issues do some digging around the towbar module and find out where it’s located and if it has power etc
