Have you got a wider picture to show the whole door frame?

Also what van and what band shapes did you go for?
I've just finished a no van shades on the driver's side window and side slider window, I'll have to get some pictures.

Put my set on Vw t5.1 combi single slider the weekend,my set also sits on the rubber like your photo.
Also the instructions are incorrect for the tail gate as the t5.1 is fixed by 4 x long tec screws and the t6 is 2 x long screws and 2 x short screws.
Have contacted them to inform that it is incorrect on the documentation and on the video on line .
Was expecting a more OEM fit for the price ,but looks better than the curtains before.

They do look better than curtains to be fair, just unsure whether they'll leak or not
You and me both. Fitted vanshades to the windows in my T6.1 barn doors, considering they boast about laser scanned etc the fit was atrocious. I eventually got them in and managed to get the doors to shut properly, but it wasn't easy and they still sit proud in one corner. I am getting over it... slowly
They should be perfect considering the astronomical prices
I fitted Vanshades to my T6.1 yesterday, they look amazing. BUT it was not as easy as the videos make out, I think they lull you into a false sense of security. Here's my experience in case it helps anyone else:
Sliding door: pretty much per the install videos for the lock side, the left side and bottom both have what looks like a lug that you screw through into the van, this is carpeted on the underside which I guess acts like a washer. On my first attempt, the screw went though the two plastic layers then then pulled wildly to one side. I stopped in a panic, took the screw out and the lock side so I could investigate, and basically the screw had caught in the carpet, wound round it and pulled it to the side, so I just cut a V out of the carpet on those lugs (as shown in my attached pic) and it was all good.
NS rear quarter: I had routed cables down the C pillar and below the window, so my first concern was not screwing though those. I popped off my lower panels, and made sure the cables were out of the way, I had never considered this when wiring. Then the good lady put her smaller hand up the D pillar where three smaller self tapping screws are supposed to go and in addition to my wires are the van loom for the rear lights and sensors etc, there was no way I was blindly going to screw into this area. Thinking about how I was going to make sure the shade didn't flap about I remembered I had some fairly strong self adhesive Velcro, so I put a couple of lengths of that on and it seemed to work a treat. Having made sure my cables were out of the way I did use the tech screws on the C Pillar side and bottom, I would advise angling the bottom ones every so slightly towards the window, my first attempt slid off the metalwork and there wasn't any way to get it back without perhaps drilling a pilot hole, so I ended up with second attempt, and now have a superfluous hole that can't be seen without looking but I'm OK with that.
Barn doors: These went on relatively easy in accordance with the videos, we celebrated, tidied up and went to close the barn doors only to find they wouldn't shut as the Vanshades were fouling the door rubbers. After some bemusement and choice words, we took them off, closed the doors, positioned them from the inside and put the two lower screws back in, opened the doors, and put the top screws in.
OS behind driver: will be fitted to Davanco kitchen splash back.
In conclusion, I think they look so much better than curtains, yes they are expensive (what isn't with these vans), fitting could be easier, but not out of the ability of a DIYer if you have a decent impact or cordless screwdriver.
