Vanshades question

Hi all,

I've recently had some Vanshades fitted to my kombi sliding doors and I'm not sure they're 100% right. Should they be flush all around? I'm a little concerned the door seal won't be tight against the metal and allow water ingress.

Hi - Did you ever get an answer about this? Just installed mine and was wondering the same thing

That pod looks like it’s on back to front. The side facing inwards should be flat all the way across with the blind housing nearest the glass

Mine protrude and I’ve never had an issue with water ingress… not from the door seal anyway.

They can only be fitted one way too!

Yours look like they've got a shallower bit around the edge? Mine are flat completely

Mine are the same depth all along. How long have you had yours? I wonder if the design may of changed recently

I think the oem Kombi window vanshades are deeper to allow for the window to come forward when opened,the handles also protrude forwards to open
