USB in Glovebox doesn’t support CarPlay?

T6 2017 California.

The cubby hole in the comfort dash, CarPlay works fine.

The one in the Glovebox doesn’t support CarPlay.

Can it be upgraded to do so? Would just be more convenient for me if so.

You need a splitter, have a search on here and you should find the part number.
