Upholstery experts...anyone?

Looking for some advice please

Just purchased these seats and overall they are pretty good condition and the leather is the correct colour
However....would it be possible to change just the centre black Cross weave fabric? I'm.thinking it might be cheaper and then I could go for a vw tartan centre or similar

Anyone done the same?

An upholstery specialist could do that easily. Probably not as pricy as you fear if you took the seats in loose.

I would have thought it fairly straightforward for a decent upholsterer considering the stuff you see in the Tube. You could probably have that VXR leather replaced with a piece with the VW logo at the same time.
