If changing to vw wheels then no as they all use radius seat bolts.

Aftermarket wheels then yes as the wheel takes tapered bolts.

I think it depends on the Alloys you are thinking of buying.
Most good wheels suppliers will send the correct bolts with the wheels anyway.

They should be fine as made specially for VW range
