Amarok steelie centre caps.

Hi @deadmanshand
I had the same problem as you.
I ordered a set from THQ
When I went to fit one, it was too loose as you reported
After numerous calls and emails to Kieran and Mikey at THQ, it turns out they had a mix up with their stock and Transporter and Crafter caps had been mixed.
I received 2 Transporter and 2 Crafter caps.
I only tried to fit the Crafter one. I thought I was going mad.
The code you need is 7E0 601 151B . This is for the Transporter.
The Crafter code is 2N0 601 151 B
They look identical.
The only difference is that the Transporter one is 25mm dia, where as the Crafter one is 28mm dia.

Hope this helps

Anybody find a way to get the crafter ones to fit?
Yes, a small dab of sikaflex (clear silicone would likely do) on the bolt heads then tape the cover in place while it dries. It stays firm but can be pulled off without difficulty when needed. I bought the wrong cap for my tailgate mounted spare so improvised.

Did you do this for the wheels in use as well? Would be worried they’d fly off down the motorway! Plus a pain to get them off in an emergency maybe

No, only the spare. It pulls off with moderate effort, but has survived the bumping and vibration.
