Upgrade to VIP

Hi, have paid to upgrade to VIP membership. Should my status automatically change or does it need to be checked? Thanks

Its pretty quick normally, generally the badge appears within a couple minutes

Hi, I am having the same issue as it’s been an hour or more but no change. Hopefully it will have upgraded soon as I need to check the fuse card to find a battery drain

Just had a look for you and the paypal payment has not processed and the transaction is not complete, thats why the VIP status hasnt kicked in
Its a fully automated process that happens between you and paypal so little i can do im afraid

Just start a thread and post up your problem/query and hopefully we can get you sorted

Well it took 4 days but they payment went through, yep PayPal sucks!

Not sure what your seeing but the payment hasnt processed, it just says pending and hasnt completed thats why the VIP badge hasnt appeared

@Pauly is there an alternative to PayPal, if not, is it worth looking into one? It’s a terrible system & customer service is non existent when things don’t work.

It’s complicated, there are possibilities but all with issues and limitations
I’m not a huge fan of PP either but it is the mainstream and works for the majority
I will pit this in my list of things to review periodically and see what the latest options are but there is more important stuff on the go at the moment so will be a later on job

So it turns out PayPal used echeque (never heard of it!) and finally got the automated email from the forum today. Thanks for the patience Pauly

Does anuone know why i have to use PayPal to become VIP, i dont like paypal and want to pay by my CC

I’ve just tried to login to the VIP area and apparently my VIP membership has expired. It used to automatically renew via the hated PayPal. Tried to pay my VIP subscription, and I’m getting a “Your account has been blocked” message from PayPal. So I’m stuck
