Updated Steering wheel - and infotainment

Hi all, in my new van the previous owner has changed the steering wheel to a newer modern one I think it’s out of a golf r I shall attach a picture, I can’t seem to get any of the buttons on it to work ? Is this something I can get looked at or is it worth buying a oem replacement.
Currently can’t figure out how to turn the volume up in my van.
And does anyone know what sort of infotainment system he has installed in this ? I’ll attach a picture

Looks like a generic android unit to me which I guess is why nothing works from the wheel?

A few on here have that stereo. It does work with MFSW but mine is oem. Volume buttons on the stereo are the +/- if it is working.

I sat in the van last night trying to figure that out and then this morning i looked at the picture and realised it had those buttons, silly me

That looks like a later generation wheel. I don’t think they can work with a T6 or earlier or at least not without some trick wiring/coding mods.

Thought it would be like that might look into a oem replacement
