Update rear suspension

I have a 2025 Weinsberg MQ500 MoHo on a T6.1 chassis.

I have now caught the rear off the van a couple of times on ramps or uneven ground. It is low to the ground but when the rear garage is loaded it’s worse.

I need advice on how to either:

1. Uprate the suspension
2. Rear spring assisters
3. rear Air assist

Potential costs and who you’d recommend in the Midlands/Leicester area.

I had a similar issue on my standard body conversion and Eibach leveling springs on the rear cured it most excellently. However, I dont know what may be out there for a chassis-cab job like yours so you may need to speak to a specialist.

Nice van BTW.

Do the chassis cabs have the same rear suspension setup as the vans?

I was having s similar issue, but more due to the ride height of my van. I like to ride as low as possible, but when fully loaded the rear tyres were catching the tops of the arches, so each time we went camping id have to put the rear spring adjusters back in.

I went for a very simple rear only air suspension setup. 2 rear air bags, a compressor, 2 guages and 2 paddles switches to control it. Works an absolute dream and gives me so much flexibility now! Plus the ride has been completely transformed! Something to look into!

Its tidier than this now. This was taken mid instal/testing 🤣

We have rear airbags on our moho to help with the weight of the stuff in the garage .
No compressor on ours just pumps up with a foot pump .

Interesting this thread has come up. Now my van is fully converted and when loaded up its a little lower at the back than the front. On my last van, after fitting the airbags I just ran an air line from each one to 4 schrader valves and used a portable pump to adjust the levels. Each corner could them be adjusted individually. I ran it like this for a while before I fitted the rest of the air setup (Pump/tank/management etc.).
