Update** sorry just double checked and there’s just a couple of screws by the look of it. The storage under the bed isn’t great anyway because of the mechanism but I’ll work with what I can!
I’ve removed the mounts from my rear panel and it’s now fixed in place with velcro strips. Sounds a bit naff but easy to remove and fit to get better access to under the seat and stays put.
I’ve also panelled out under the seat and used metal button fixings (see pic below) for the front panel so it can be removed but is solid for keeping things in place. These could be used at the rear too if you wanted. I use under the seat for storing bedding at the front and levelling ramps at the rear so nothing particularly heavy.

There’s a good chance the door has hinges with a button on the back of them that pops the door off easily when pressed.
Removing the door will give you a bit more room to fit stuff in the hole.
