DIY backrest for rock n roll bed?

I want to be able to sit up in bed to read etc when my rock n roll bed is in bed position. I can’t lean on the tailgate because I don’t want to squash the blinds. I’m thinking maybe a piece of ply, suitably padded, that can be detached when not in use? Has anyone made/seen anything like this? Pictures would be hugely welcome

We dont use a blind we've just cut a camping mat up to the same size as the glass .
This means we can rest against the back doors in relative comfort and also it stops condensation.
Can also be used behind blinds or curtains if you should wish .

My first thought was one of those pre made folding back rests but I dont know how far down the bed it would bring you.

Thanks. Thats a really neat solution, unfortunately ours has blinds already fitted. Good idea though!
