My 2006 T5 2.5 AXD has been intermittently going into limp mode (overboost fault) on long climbs, the garage have advised replacing Turbo due to sticking vanes, EGR (it was leaking so needed doing anyway) and N75 valve.
I have attempted cleaning the turbo with Mr Muscle and replaced the egr, but the problem persists.
I have also now replaced the N75 pressure converter. In the event that this doesn't solve it and the turbo does need replacing, does anyone have a recommendation of a garage in or around Plymouth, Devon who could do this at a sensible price?
I've been quoted just shy of £1500 by my usual garage for parts and labour, which seems like too significant an investment into a 20yr old van...
