TPMS showing fault with new sensors

Hi all,

I have fitted some new 18" wheels with new tyres and TPMS. Initially all ok as I changed my wheel size on the display. I have now got a light on the dash and it doesn't show any sensors.

Any ideas?

T6 s or T6.1 with direct sensors?

T6.1 direct system is a bit finniky & really only works with the VW or 'OEM supplier' sensors (not 'compatible/cloned' ones from most tyre shops) IME like those on this post

Looking at the item on eBay you linked to they look like the ‘previous generation’ VAG TPMS sensors
The T6.1 versions are made by Schrader the ones @Pauly has pictured. My T6.1 was fussy & didn’t even like a ‘ compatible’ one on correct frequency.

If you search the part number vw tpms 2N0907275A on those pictured or look at Schrader website you will see the OEM version & their non VW pt no one (which works).

They don’t need coding at all the system will pick them up within a couple of mins

It's a T6.1. The original wheels had the TPMS in the wheels, so I ordered some for my new wheels. They worked for a few days then stopped, so I know they were recognised.

?put old wheels x2 on & check they are still recognised? & system is ok
Otherwise it'll need diagnostics
