Hardly used Orange Five Mountain Bike Medium Frame Large Spec. £2800 or Nearest Offer.

You are viewing my 2017 Orange five mountain bike that’s a medium frame with full factory suspension and seat post upgrade. Full Hope breaks, hubs, head set and cranks (see above picture for full spec upgrades and costs involved).

Bought August 2017 from Bike Park Wales for just under £5000 (receipt to prove purchase) and only ridden for three months before breaking my shoulder. Bikes not been ridden since due to risk of injury with work and “the wife”! Bikes been stored clean, well protected and lubed.

Sadly I have come to the conclusion it has to go so somebody’s going to get a genuine bargain on a top spec bike.

It’s been invisi wrapped from new which has the odd chip as seen in pictures and the right lower leg has some damage from someone’s disk from the uplift but is structurally sounds, inspected by BPW (see pictures).

Grips are chewed up from the straps of the uplift so I’ll throw in a brand new set of Odi Yeti grips.

Any questions feel free to ask, pick up only. I won’t be giving this bike away as I’m in no rush or desperate to sell and would rather keep it than give it away so sensible offers only please.

Cheers @tintim, your not wrong. It’s such a nice bike, looks and performance that it’s taken me Nerdy two years to come to the conclusion it has to go.
I’ve had far too many operations (5, not all bike related) and I don’t think work will stand for many, if any more.
Then there’s the wife. She’s been great too be-honest but I don’t think it’s fair to put her through another injury as it’s not a case of if, but when the next injury happens.
I am now in the sad position of saying “unfortunately” I only live 15mims away from Bike Park Wales, Cwmcarn is only 30mims with Afan around an hour away. So as you can see I have too easy access to some top but dangerous riding and I was going to these places twice a week. Such a shame as theres not a lot else that’s around here.

I went through the same thing a few years back, sold my Yeti, after a year I couldn't hack it so picked up a hardtail and it's excellent, slows you down enough on the knarly bits to keep things at a reasonable level as it's great fun at a slower speed!
