Think maybe I should have gone for 20” wheels

Some big meaty swamper tyres will butch it up and keep you pothole and speed hump resistant, while also enhancing your attractiveness to the opposite sex. Those wheels would look well with some nice Wildpeaks.
Yeah, that’s crossed my mind to be honest, is that what you have on yours? Do you have a photo? What’s the road noise and fuel economy like? Cheers

Or, as your title suggests, a cool as fork set of 20's with a nice 40/45 profile set of rubber to protect the rims, and a Steve @CRS Performance set up to make your van and life complete!
Forget sex, that is what they put potatoes in around these parts...
Yeah, I’ve spoken to Steve @CRS, great bloke btw, and considering going there to get the sport line shocks and springs fitted to loose the height and improve the set up👍

When I bought my van it was on stock suspension with a saggy arse. It drove like a space hopper riding on a pogo stick, I was looking at the sky while driving!
Steve performed what felt like a miracle, all I had to do was give him some monies and watch the boys do their job at CRS.
2 years ago that was, van drives so well now, 20's with good suspension and good rubber is the way forward!

Had 3 tyres damaged in a year so I just swapped my 20''s for 18"s the van is much happier.
Is that with the stock suspension

so did you go with the sport line suspension set up from CRS? What size tyres did you go for on the 20s? Is yours the T32?

I do have 18s with ATs on mine. Not the bedt picture, but the only one I have to hand...

They're Cooper ATTs in 235/55 18, so while they look meaty the tread is at the road biased end or their AT range (they do 5 different ATs from mild to Rambo).

No road noise issues, as befits a fairly continuous thread pattern. MPG is high 30s in daily pottering, 44 driven sympathetically on a long run (it doesnt go much quicker if you rag any of these vans, so why bother?) with a full camper conversion aboard.

Road behaviour has been good in all conditions,

Its a 110 2wd with 5 cog manual.

Koni suspension with H&R ARB upgrade.
Velare VLR07'S in black shiny.
Staggered wheels 8.5 fronts with 245/45 Michelin cc2's all round, 10j on the rear with 275/40's.
T28 but now up-plated to a T31 because of CRS upgrade.
Photo taken for insurance AV purposes, not a glamour shot!

Personally I'd say get it lowered as the first step if you are considering lowering it anyway. You might just find that you are happy with how it looks on those 18's then. You can't decide anything while it sits so high.
I had mine lowered and kept it on the 17" Devonports for a while before I decided to go to 20's. Tbh it still looks OK when I put the 17's back on for winter.

Did you get in lowered at CRS? What kits did you use?
