We went here years ago instead of Disneyland... I lie, we were supposed to be going to Arran for the day but it was too rough for Calmac, heroes that they are so Bute.
Like the guy in the video it's weird but I took some pictures too... no, not that sort and the missus still made me delete them anyway but the bogs were brilliant with fishtanks for overhead cisterns, you had to pay and I couldn't afford enough for a poo but what a gem.

Debus air duo - great wee awning but we are now looking for a full sized one for longer trips.

We bought the Smokin midge unit(brilliant!) and the campsite have citronella candles on each pitch, so actually manageable - they tend not to be too bad when we’ve had an extended warm spell.
Clefs on the other hand have been a pain in the arse!!

This is a bit of the undiscovered Scotland - I’m on the site again tonight and there are 3/4 other units - go further north from Argyll and Bute then it’s bonkers….

Smidge, our youngest, sentenced to life imprisonment in Cambuslang, recommends the stuff as he surveys all over Scotland and it works though so far we've only been camping along the East coast which apparently is cleggy free.

I’m a local over West Coast and while the smidge does a good job for normal midge, nothing works on a calm summers night…pack your bags and go home
