Hi All,
Here a newby and started last year December with my camper.
Not to describe everthing because it is all been said here and only underline the key items:
1) Poptop roof, window replacement new floor with Scopema Altaïr 2P 194bed and frame by Camperparts.eu (Dutch).
2) upholstery grey also by them to have the correct order of floor and coverage.
3) Cabinets by Vanly (Dutch) as flatpack. This kitchen is an flush SWB version with high leftwindow cabinet.
Flush means smaller fridge with separate compressor.

Other items or eyeopen or to-do list will be mentioned below. First I show your that this T6 was a Belgium Police van. Please keep in mind below picture are the same police mods (from a T5) but my car had complete same mods and complete same kilimeters of cutted cablings, lighting indoor, roof LED were not included, interior LED do and all connections were cutted.

I made a separate thread.

First MODs I did was to get rid of the extra HVAC combi rear heater with the warm water line and Freon R134 tubing.
So the Scopema Bed can be installed properly.

Last week the Pop top was placed and they installed 1 window. Note: the car has already 5 rear windows.

This week the Scopema Altaïr will be placed so that we can install the cabinets and electrical system.
With electrics I am considering a Litime Lithium Battery with > 200Ah.. It seems there is even one which fits under the passenger seat.
The driver seat has already one battery 80Ah only for the standheater (petrol!:p :waving: ).
I will install a DC-DC charge so the 140A VW T6 Alternator can refill my needs during the drive.

I made an Estimate from a List of our YOUtube German guy FRELSI please search and you will find him.
That list is revised to my work estimate and all topics are in now - or added which I missed or re-shuffled.

The list is in Dutch so I cant share it here properly and German based text is mixed up.
But all requirements are in and all parts needed for the key modification are bought or will be made available soon.

If you have any question "where to buy"please reach me out - not that my advice is correct or binding. It is derived from all T6 or camper vans.
But keep in mind for the RDW - the Dutch M1 - we have more stringent regulations except for the "TÜV ëinklärungen".
Big example is that a camper kitchen should be used or available from indoors - so a drawer out of the rear is not allowed - there should be a fixed cooker unit (gas electric).
For me I preselect Campingaz Camp Bistro to start with for the "M1-test" as camper later.

Here below some features from the moodboard or order examples of the kitchen.

The green kitchen cabinets are similar except it is flush at the fridge front and has not 2 but one door.
This to match with the longer Scopema Altaïr bed of 112x194cm.

Looking good!

Are you allowed to DIY install?

In the UK it is very loose, basically anything goes.

Yes CAB, with certain fixed mounting and rigid cabinet placement I am allowed.
Also the cooker should be installed fixed (not mobile..).

What you see that people drive a Westfalia kitchen---drop it out in the garage and pay lower taxes for camper in NL which is not allowed (RDW can give you a big fine when they setup a trap and having a bad day..). The chance that they do it is very low - and they catch other in-appropriate drivers.

Regulations will change that they want to have the electrics RN10 standards for DIY builds too.
So electr magnetic fields will not disturb your safety features like ABS or else.
Now it is EMC valid for new built camper regulations.

I am considering to have it built in by an Electric specialist and have it all RN10 proofed..
But the problem is.. all Lithium batteries are that new ... the parts doesnt have EC confirmation for EMC (RN10 certification) yet.. so what the f* I am doing :)

More info here (Dutch) but please use translation. It will be mandatory for all European campers in future.

With Lithium enough is said and written here.
I do not see any update on Litime. But that brand is hammering.
My eye has felt on this 300Ah Battery. from Litime
But I def, need to check the sizing when my car is back from the workshop.

L368*W189*H255

Height will be the width a.o because it can be installed horizontally.
The length shall be between the flanges of the chair frame I guess and I need a converter too.
Battery will be charged from a DC-DC charger.
