The Jokes Thread...

A vital life saving piece of equipment failed at Chez Spuds this week, so we’re in the market for a new kettle. A quick foray on Amazon and we chose a pretty bog standard Russell Hobbs.
Here is the AI generated review for said kettle, bear in mind that the government is investing billions in AI, and they are going to use AI to design the next generation of Antibiotics……

"Customers find the kettle excellent for making toast and appreciate its simple design and fast boiling time of about 3 1/2 minutes. They consider it good value for money and well-made, with a sturdy lid and reliable functionality. The noise level receives mixed feedback, with some finding it not noisy while others describe it as unbelievably loud. The size also gets mixed reviews - while customers like that it takes up less space, some note it's not suitable for larger slices of bread.

I often find the reviews on Amazon are not for the product I’m looking at, it may be for a different size or configuration but it’s often not obvious which product the review is referring to, at least here it’s clear that the reviews and therefore rating of the product is incorrect

or maybe if you boil the kettle dry with bread in it does make good toast

If my kettle wants to identify as a toaster, who am I to judge? Gotta move with the times🌈
