Team ex-AA van

Can anyone shed any light on the default AA electrics setup under the passenger seat? I plan on setting my electric system under here would like to know what existing cabling is for.

When I got my van I sent a direct message on twitter to the AA and got back a spreadsheet with all the work completed, other routes are through the leasing company (not sure of the name atm).
Can you send me link..as I need to do this?..

Thought I'd introduce myself into The AA Club!
Picked this up end of may and had nothing but problems with it 😅

So far it's had a new crank seal, aux belt tensioner, EGR removed & Ad Blue removed as they both packed up and Glow Plug 3 (with the pressure sensor)
It's also had a stage 1 map when having the emissions crap removed. Feels like a completely different engine!

Fingers crossed it's ok for a bit now!

Since buying it I've installed rear speakers for the kids, 12v & USB sockets in the load area, Kenwood head unit, headlight eyebrows, dynamic side Repeaters and wind deflectors.

Question for other owners. The paint code is listed as LL1F AA Yellow. Got a repair kit from Chipex and the shade is really off. Looks like the older T4 AA Yellow.
Can anyone recommend a good paint supplier?
Pics below for the different shade

Hello,
I recently bought an ex-AA 2019 T32 van and have no idea where to start with the electrics. The van still has battery, router and wiring all connected under front seats. Just wondering if anyone has tackled similar and if you were able to re-use any of the set-up? Thanks!IMG_7333.jpgIMG_7334.jpgIMG_7336.jpg

Hi @jgm0, just wondering how you got on with this? I have a similar set-up in my van and not sure where to start!

From memory I ripped it all out and chased all cabling back and removed. None of it was kept to re-use

Hi mate,

It seems daunting but it's quite simple really.

I stripped everything out from the factory setup and the only thing I used from the original setup was the thick red cable that runs to the vehicle battery. I then slid that under the seat and hooked that up to my MPPT via a 40A fuse and put everything under the driver seat.

One thing to note is that you will probably have towbar electronics (maybe that big box with diagonal lines on, mine was smaller than that) as well like I did, so I just folded all that stuff up and put it under the carpet, after disconnecting that stuff it put a warning light on dash so I had to code it out.

Here's a shitty diagram that I made, simple but works perfect:

For the sake of ease, I circled the red cable on the photo below, I snipped off the cable where it goes into the black box (relay) and literally threw everything else out. You can sell the battery tray on ebay.

Also, after looking more close, it looks like your towbar stuff is in the top left corner (black box), not sure what the diagonal stripe box is
