Team 4Motion.

nil pwah @CAB, but top marks @VWDAZ71 ! That would be my brother in his Jeep Renegade dragging his new mini adventure caravan where no other has gone before! not quite as comfy as my bus, but a bit more capable over the rough stuff (mainly due to having a lower gear...in the T6 you have to go a little too fast at times).

The caravan is built by a former VW camper converter in Worcester. Apparently many of his former customers are coming back to him wanting one to add a bit more space/versatility to their set up.

Well mine made it all the way up to 3000m on the Vol du Sommellier, so I'm gonna say yes! Just lacks a lower 1st gear, but will tackle anything your're likely to want it to do.

Full report on the trip coming soon!

Nice to see a Transporter on top of Sommellier. A few years back I was up there with my Discovery II. Now with my new 4motion I was wondering if it would be possible.

Great picture!

Sadly we couldn't get right to the top due to being both blocked by thick snow in places, but also semi-destroyed by wash outs and rock falls over the winter that even a Unimog wouldn't get through! I only hope they repair it as its an amazing drive. The picture below is as far as we could get - we had to walk the rest of the way.

Arrived back home from the trip today so have a 'mountain' of video and pics to edit, so will post some up when I've had chance to edit.

This was taken not far from where you are parked up in your Disco...
