I’m about to buy a SmartBed Evolution 2 (fixed, not sliding) to replace the uncomfortable rocknroll my Cambridge Campervan came with. Who has one. I’m worrying about a couple of things. The demonstrator was a lwb van with a sliding bed, so different from my swb. This means I couldn’t check out a few things when I went to see the Smartbed people.
1. The short bit at the very back is shorter than other rocknrolls- I assume because of the thickness of the foam. This is where I store my bedding - pillows, a proper duvet and another single duvet as a mattress topper. I’m worried that there isn’t enough room for all this on that short platform. How does this work out for others?
2. The under bed storage is only 70cm front to back - my current under bed store is 90cm front to back. Is there much room behind the bed to put things - ie outside of the actual locker?
Any user experiences to share from others with a Smartbed? I’d be very grateful to hear your views…
