I'm having problems with my T6.1 tailgate popping open onto the second latch on its own, when it does I can hear the actuator making noises. Sometimes if it does stay closed I can only open it with the key.
I've had a piece of bar in the latch with the door open and the latch operates on its own......sometimes.
Anyway I have a cheap new latch coming to try to see if its that is the problem but my question is how does the little rod from the actuator come off the latch? I cant see how and if I break it I will be doing more harm than good.
