Tail lights not working

Hi,

I'm new to this forum so I hope I post this in the correct place. I rebuild my T6 to a campervan and I suspect i hit something with drilling in to a horizontal steel profile I applied for the lifting roof. Now both my tail lights are not working anymore. The things I already tried:

- fuse is oke
- checked the connectors under passenger seat (i removed them also for the wiring)
- the light bulbs are fine
- all the other rear lights are working fine (breaking, indicator, fog, hazard)

Does someone have another idea what could be the issue and even better, what could be the solution 😅. I was thinking to pull a new wire from the front to the back. But I don't know from where to where that cables goes.

Regards,

Stefan

Are the courtesy light’s working?

I removed the 2 courtesy lights in the back when I installed the lifting roof. I left the connectors empty.

In the mean time I figured out that there is no 12 volt coming in to the green connector below the drivers seat (left hand drive) only for the 2 pins for the tail lights. So from the dashboard to the seat. No lose cables below the floor.
