T6 Stop/Start Question

Hi all, query on stop/start activation …

I was under the impression the Stop/Start should only activate under certain conditions, e.g. engine up to normal operating temp, however mine seems to activate minutes after I pull out of my drive from cold start, for example when pulling in to let a car past in our narrow street.

It starts again fine when I take my foot off the brake, so no issues apart from doing it “cold”

Any ideas if this is an issue and what might cause it ?

If the starter battery is fully charged, the stop start will work right away.

Thanks for the reply Del, it’s definitely a good battery in it, so sounds like it’s doing what it’s meant to do and no issues …
