T6 Sportline front bumper

Morning everyone,

The panel van to camper is underway now but I have a bit of a dilemma.
With the van parked on the drive, I am unsure on the Sportline front end.

This was done prior to me purchasing the vehicle and I like others I am not sure on the “step”
What is the general opinion on this, would a bit of colour break it up or should I leave it as it and let it grow on me?

Have booked some day tickets to busfest as the van won’t be anywhere near ready by then but looking forward to a couple of interesting days!

My opinion isn't very complimentary, dont like them at all, so I can understand your disquiet.

Others love them though.

I dont know how long youve had the van but if its a recentish purpose perhaps wait a bit, see if it grows on you or at least becomes a bit less eye-catching over time.

They're very Marmite. Personally, I'm a hater, though I'd recommend you live with it in the short term and act (or not) further down the line once you're 'sure' .

I’ve had the van a couple of months,
Got a great deal from a friend who’s had it since 2019.
Was a VW van prior to that.
It wasn’t a deal breaker at the time but now the furniture is here alongside the RnR seating they too are black with an orange trim so has got the brain cogs whirring.

I think I’ll leave it as is until I start actually using it and take criticism/compliments when it’s out in the wild.

I'm also not a fan of the the sportline bumper on the T6. I don't think they need it as the standard design looks quite good anyway. Just gloss black grilles suits them perfect

If it grows on you, brilliant.

If it doesn't you put it up for sale and some young buck with the crotch of his jeans round his knees will pay you top dollar for it.

Very good point,
As the van is complete black I personally think it looks worse.
Might throw a splash of colour at the front end and then see what it looks like.
Shopping list items include some THQ V3 at some point too.

I do not like them either. It would be ripped off my van within a few 10's of meters and I imagine that the odd campsite might make it wince also. Fashion modifications are not my bag unless it has real purpose but I agree it is a personal choice as long as its is legal and not contrary to safety but for me, I prefer changes that have some advantage or gain and preferably subtle in appearance. Youngsters might like it I guess regardless.

Lovely looking van. Personally I'm not a fan of the Sportline bumpers either, bit too much, but appreciate it's subjective! The trendline/highline with fogs looks much more streamlined and sleeker IMO!

If not wanting to watch the whole thing the sounds hit or miss at these points but I found it nostalgic. Some may recognise some of the faces. Years and years since I saw one of those programs. Interesting to hear the sounds of the times.
