I’ve never tried aftermarket HIDs, I guess the problem is getting the projector design right. I’m quite keen to try LED lamps though, I might experiment a bit if I do get round to buying some H7 lights

I have just posted a new thread about LED H7's, bumped into an auto lighting importer today!

If anyone is looking for a whiter replacement drl bulb the Lumro extra white w21w may be worth a look.
Top - standard bulbs
Middle - Osram LED (cause bulb fail warning on dash)
Bottom - Lumro (halogen so no bulb fail warning and cheaper than LED's)

Some LED's seem to be ok in some vans and not others, no idea why. Unfortunately for me as soon as the DRL's came on so did the warning light.

Why are some people reporting a warning light issue?

The dark wet nights really show up a MASSIVE weakness of the lights on the T6 ..............

The warning lights are where people have fitted LEDs in place of incandescents. The system thinks there’s a fault due to the difference in resistance, unless the LEDs have been fitted with electrical components to give them that same resistance
