First Van ... a '19 T6/T28 - proper White Van Man job (no windows in the rear). We're about 2000 miles into this. It's currently my only vehicle.
Drives very much like a big car ... no drama there.
Driving position very similar to a Land Rover (I've had 110 and Discovery I, II, etc.) ... with road view to match. I've not researched but I wouldn't be surprised to find the external dimensions are very similar to a Land Rover. Having said that my last four vehicles were the micro hatchback type.
I'm used to driving with a car full of kit so relying on wing (door) mirrors only is not new for me. Love the big mirrors.
Just about fits between the lines in a supermarket car park with millimetres to spare. Still becoming acclimatised to the geometry for parallel parking ... getting there.
I've had vehicles that are a joy to drive, others that were a chore and all categories in between ... this one is definitely in the high Smiles Per Mile band. Loving it and get the vibe every time I climb in.
On the downside, it's a bit gutless at low revs ... stalled more times than I care to admit ... getting used to it (and remembering to change down).
There have been questions (and there will be more) ... I'm grateful to those in this forum that generously share their experience, talent and expertise.
Wherever the road takes you ... be safe ... and have fun.
