Hi I've been lurking and reading many good posts while I am seeking to get myself a T6.
My plan is buy cheap and spend money to fix.
I have seen a T6 150PS 2018 4motion manual 6 speed. The description says the engine is a non runner. It powers up but won't crank.
I've seen cost ranging from over £12000 for all new VW warranted replacement to £3000 ebay adds for a refurb including swap out.
Am I mad to consider replacing the engine? Is it more likely i'd be spending over £10k or is £3k actually right?
Anyone able to recommend someone in south Yorkshire area, who can do those at a reasonable cost
Any advice please...wondering if it's a crazy idea...
Also, Is it a diy option to pull and strip without a lift?
