I am dealing with a severe coolant leak. After removing the undertray, I traced it to the water pump/thermostat module at the front of the block. (at least as far as I can see)
As shown in the attached video, it sprays a solid stream when revving at 90°C. It seems not to under this threshold.
Context: The cylinder head was revised 16,000 km ago. Its now on 106.000 total km's. (LPG modified)

- How Can I verify If I have a EA888 Gen 2 or 3 (its most likely a GEN 2)
- Does any of you have experienced with this?
- Is it worth upgrading the waterpump part? (there seems to be an upgrade from the first version) and which version did you use?
- What costs should I take into account?
