T6 Aftermarket Digital Instrument Cluster

fitting won't be a problem i don't, think its the updates and software side of things i may struggle with.

Does anyone with a V1 know what pcb board / parts to order to convert from wireless mirroring to HDMI input?

Posting a follow up to this - I contacted the seller on AliExpress and they were very nice and sent me the PCB for about £10 including postage.

After fitting, the HDMI port it sticks out this hole on the right...

I purchased a 90 degree HDMI ribbon cable as the space behind is limited.

I also purchased the XTRONS USB to HDMI Output Adapter. Installed the Mind Show USB Display apk for android (link below)

USBDisplay/Android at main · MindShow/USBDisplay

It's not perfect, you have to manually start the casting via HTMI every time you start the van up.
Then when it is casting it interferes with the DAB+ signal quality (also an XTRONS adapter).
Also - it's not reliable, sometimes when you start the casting it works, sometimes it doesn't.

converting the signal from usb to hdmi is a bit tricky in terms of signal quality and stability. also most adapters are very sensitive to interference (e.g. from other sources like DAB). best is to use a direct hdmi-out from your headunit if available. if not you might think of an ai-box such as ottocast p3 or carlinkit T-Box. In any case you should use a highly shielded signal cable. my experience is that low budget or standard cables are not quite as stable.

Hi all, after reading all 30 pages, I took the plunge and ordered and fitted a new Digidash from Everest,
All working as expected, however, the fuel gauge is now not working saying please refuel etc. I’ve tried locking the van and walking away for a period of time and tried to set the calibration, but still getting zero reading on the fuel gauge.
Anyone have any idea on a fix at all please?

I don’t have one but I’ve read that you need to tell the system the fuel tank size.

1) update the firmware to latest version
2) calibrate in settings, set tank size to 80ltr

I don't know how to tag a person but antony.charnley it the man who supplys and will advise you how to sort it.

After some back and forth with Anthony at Everest he gave me some ideas with what to look for.
After updating the firmware, adjusting the calibration, swapping the clocks back to check the board worked and finally putting some fuel in, the gauge now works (having re-re-installed the digi dash)

Moral of the story, don’t trust the Mrs when she says “there’s at least a quarter of a tank…”

Basically, low fuel level and high calibration meant it couldn’t see any fuel in the tank.

I know, I should’ve checked…😝

and that's the whole reason why i haven't bought one, just to much faffing about

glad you have it sorted now though

Been and bought a digital dash but not received it yet ,just to prepare do I have to set my original dash to speed warning 160mph ?

Mine was all good. Not had any issues. I do over the air updates. Love it. Only thing is it does give me an incorrect countdown miles on the fuel in the tank. But I just look at the gauge as that’s correct. Love it tho. Great bit of kit and Anthony is a legend.

just managed to uodate my digidash today now I have a low oil pressure fault coming up.as anybody had this I've scanned the ecu and no faults have come up

Just disable the oil pressure function… the digidash reads the wrong value from CAN. This is a known issue to the chinese developers and is assumed to be fixed with one of the next updates.
