T6 101hp clutch upgrade!

Hi folks

Recently got a T6 shuttle and love it to bits. I've started upgrading it, getting a remap to 150bhp. And now the clutch is really starting to wear thin. Has anyone upgraded their clutch to something more heavy duty to handle the increased torque / power and if so can anyone give me any pointers to replace the clutch to cope? I don't fancy replacing it again any time soon.
Any help greatly appreciated. It's booked into my local independent on the 7th May, and I said I'd have a kit for him to fit.

The 5 cog gearbox is only rated to handle 340NM. The 102 develops c.250NM while 110 already churns out 300NM so there's not much of a margin left for going beyond.

The box is fine if left alone but can throw an expensive grump if the motors are more than minimally tuned. A standard clutch, within appropriate wear limits, is able to manage the 340NM that the gearbox can take.

Don't forget the DMF.

Thanks so much for this Sasquatch. Very helpful. The map on my T6 is 150bhp and 330Nm Torque. The worryu I have is how quickly it has gone through the clutch. I wonder if it's worth having the existing clutch re'frictioned'...

If you send me your email, I can send over a build sheet and quote you on a uprated clutch/plate 👍

We can also reline the original plate with an stronger friction material, but we’d need the clutch for about a week

Hi Russ. I've been emailing you folks, and speaking to Janet. Transporter is booked in for Wednesday, so time is really against me to get this sorted out. I now worry I won't have enough time to get this before Wednesday. I've attached your form again here. if you could let me know, that would be great. 07799586211 Thanks loads. Alan
