T6.1 Wing Mirror Stuck

When I returned to my T6.1 van, parked at a doctor's surgery yesterday, the passenger wing mirror was folded in but I'd left it open. I can neither open it nor open/close the passenger window, they must be attached to the same mechanism.
Has anyone had this and worked out how to release it? I'm afraid I'll break it if I try to push it down 🥺 I've tried with the driver's door switch but it only opens and closes the driver's wing mirror.
Someone must've knocked it pretty hard 😠

If the window has failed as well (have I read that right?), then it could be the door (window) module, this controls the mirror too. A wiring break is possible too.

Thank you. Yes I'm now wondering if it's a fault and that no one actually damaged it 🤔

Sorry to jump on this but relevant title - looking for advice. Just hit a carpark post in Girona and completely knocked the driver side mirror off. Seen lots about only a full replacement is possible but could I disconnect electrics and do without - thankfully it's on the right hand side. Likelihood of getting a replacement is pretty minimal.
Might be a stupid question but can't see an option.
