I am beginning to have issues getting my van to start, normally after I've done a journey and everything is hot. Turning the key it then spins over but dies quite violently (flywheel noise). I also find that I've got some clutch 'judder' when the vans up to normal running temperature. Has anyone else had this? It seems to be getting worse with time and I'm getting concerned that its going to leave me stranded.
What engine and mileage?
Get it looked at, could be a failed lift pump which is not feeding enough fuel to the High Pressure Pump (which can cause damage and is expensive to replace) or a leaking injector(s) which could at best cause dilution of engine oil, at worst put enough fuel into one cylinder to cause a hydraulic lock and bend a rod (also very expensive to rectify)
