T6.1 Instrument cluster removal

Hi all, trying to remove instrument cluster on t6.1, can find lots of videos on t6 but not the t6.1 which appears to be slightly different. Have removed the trim and the two screws at the bottom. It is now quite loose and rocks around the top corners, I have tried just pulling assuming it is held in by a clip in the top corners but no joy. Any information gratefully received.

Did you have any luck removing the cluster? I have the same issue. I Tried pulling really hard but cannot remove it and worried something will break

Yes removed mine, you just have to be brave and pull hard, there's a clip either side in the top corners. I thought exactly the same but it came out without any damage. You want to pull it straight towards you rather than twisting it upwards.

Once you have undone the screws there is a piece that clips the material cover at the bottom to the steering column, if you remove that by unclipping it then you should not have to pull hard at all, if you yank it without unclipping the material cover then you risk damaging the clips on that little plastic trim.
