T6.1 Highline with LEDs bumper light out nearside

New T6.1 highline with leds …front near side bumper light out. On Auto setting, should they be on at all anyway ? Can someone shed some light .
or do I have a duff unit ?

I haven’t looked properly but I think they come on as cornering lights the appropriate one comes on depending on which way I’m turning. That’s the only time I’ve seen them on.

If by bumper light, you mean foglight then I would imagine its the cornering lights function you are observing.

Thank you both ….I think I misunderstood and thought that the main lights did the cornering , not the fog lights

I am sure with a bit of wiring you could put them onto an on/off switch

The fogs can be manually operated by pulling the light switch out one click when on side or headlights (not auto).

You can turn the cornering lights off with Carista if you don’t want them to function.

They also come on when you reverse but they both light.
