T6.1 bench seat

Hi everyone

Just contemplating which rear seat to install in my T6.1 Transporter, I would like a double bed in the back and was thinking a front folding bench seat with support rails abd plywood behind to create bed area.
Is this the popular option or are alternatives like RIB beds better?

If you can afford it the RIB bed is the best on the market IMHO. Light years better than the rear seat and SteeFree platform in my old Caravelle.

The clever reversed flat sleeping surface and the multi angle positions for lounging are superb. As is the build quality.

The only issue with our last RIB was the 1.1 m width. Once you have had full width there is no going back. So the wife said....

( still advise a mattress topper though as with any van bed )
