Morning everyone, Bought this deep step from a UK Supplier, It was sold as a extra deep step. Fits lovely around the top but has a massive gap near the bottom. I need to get something that fits as having no step is doing my head in and I'm worried about damaging the edging of the floor without one fitted. Pictures below.

There are 3 step heights. That looks like a standard step. there is then a 'Kombi' height step, and the highest is a caravelle height step. Most conversions use the Kombi height.

Doesn't make sense does it. Maybe they sent the wrong one. Have you measured it or contacted them.
The lip at the top lines up perfectly and the distance from the top down to the first pop fittings is perfect. But then theres this gap between the bottom.

Hi, I just wandered if you managed to find out if there was a better option for your side step. I have unfortunately encountered the same problem, the floor has 12mm ply and the same side step does not fit…

Hi, According to what I found out the caravelle step is deeper and may work better. I haven't been able to try one just what I have read. What I ending up doing seeing as I missed the return window for sending this back was to cut some parts out of the new step. There was some blocks on the underside that seemed to foul the van. I have since after some surgery managed to get the step to sit a bit better. Its not perfect but its a damn sight better than no step at all.
