Anyone got any coilovers for sale for a T28?

My original rear dampers are close to an mpt failure imo, so I'm looking for some coilovers

Do you mean coilovers? I have some original T28 rear shocks if you want them. I also have the front struts but they are fitted with H&R lowering springs rather than the standard VW springs. The H&R rear springs are also available as well as the ARBs. The VW bits have about 30000 miles on them and about 5000 on the H&R springs.

It’s only coilovers on the front, rears are separate springs and shocks. Are you wanting to change springs and shocks on all 4 corners? If so what are you wanting to do, lower, raise, OEM, comfort….? Or something just to get you through the MOT or long term upgrade? You need to be careful with any changes or you could ruin the ride and handling or end up with a saggy rear end (never a good look!!).

I’d suggest speaking to one of the specialists on the forum such as CRS or Bognor to see what the options are. They often have nearly new OEM stuff that’s been upgraded that may suit you.

CRS binned my standard shocks while I was there (scrap man collected them) and they only had a few 1000 miles on maybe not even that

Ideally I'm looking to lower the van slightly. When i bought it, it's 30mm on standard shocks.

I want it a bit lower to improve the stance

I did actually have 40mm lower springs on there with the standard shocks too. It was so bad I had to get it changed asap (and it was much lower than that with the camper conversion)

Same with mine, which is why they are now in my shed rather than on the van!!
