Swivel seat upgrade

At Slidepods we are always working hard to provide the best solutions for the problems we face when converting vans one such problem is the hand brake lowering issue on the drivers seat.
There are some cheap brackets available on the market to lower the handbrake but these look an absolute dogs dinner!
We achieve a factory finish by drilling out the spot welds on the hand brake bracket that attach it to the drivers seat base. We then weld it around 25mm lower and re paint the base. Finally we cut an inch from the bottom of the plastic handbrake cover and "voila" perfection!
We know that this may be beyond the skills of some but that you would still like to achieve this high level of finish so.......
We would like to offer all forum members the chance to buy X2 Spostscraft seat swivels (X1 nut on to X1 nut on bottom) along with a pre adapted (brand new or immaculate) drivers seat base with a (brand new or immaculate) adapted handbrake cover supplied with fitting instructions for just £425 inc vat and delivery
(Please note the handbrake cover and seat base are on an exchange basis and we will require a deposit until you send us the ones you remove from your van so that we can adapt them).
This will allow you to achieve an OEM finish when fitting the undisputed best swivel base on the market

Its super easy and yes you just use existing seats. You will need to adapt the plastic seat base covers or for an extra £35 we can supply some cnc cut light weight ply replacement ones that are direct fit

How much extra height is added by the swivel base? And can you post some pics of the kit installed? I'm interested but have little knowledge or experience of the swivel kits.

Fitted swivel seat bases today supplied by @slidepods very easy to fit I've got the 'nuts' on top version they do raise the seat up by 35mm this suits me as I prefer them higher. Passenger seat can be spun round without any adjustments to the seat, drivers seat you have to tilt the seat back forward to get it past the steering wheel but takes seconds very happy with them.

@slidepods are these your own make or are you selling sportscraft/ kiravans items?

@DaveyB they are sportscraft @slidepods supplies them with a drivers seat base that has had the handbrake bracket removed and re-welded lower which is exchanged for your existing base and they also supply the ply panels.
