Swivel seat base problem

Just taking my double front seat out to fit my new swivel and slide plate. And i see these wires that seem to be part of the seatbelt electrics. They want to stay plugged into the seat but obviously won't allow the seat to move if plugged in. Is there a way to overcome this ?

Can I leave them unplugged or will I get faults on the dash ?? Do I just loop a wire across each plug to close each circuit.

The van will think the seatbelt is always plugged in i guess. Will that cause a problem at MOT time ?

Thanks

There are 4 seperate seat plugs for the seatbelt id guess. Each plug has 2 wires so it may be as simple as looping each plug with a short wire ??

You need to extend the seat ones up to the seat and the rest of them can be tapped underneath the carpet

Yes it s a double but a sliding one so the wires will be messy if I extend them and I guess snag when sliding the seat in use

After speaking to Transporter HQ I'm told it's a case of simply ignoring the wires and tuck them under the carpet as they are not needed now. The seatbelt warning will never come on now though when someone is sat on the seat

This may answer some questions.
