Not exactly, but we do a month skiing trip every year immediately after new year in the Alps, France/Italy/austria. This usually involves a drive through Switzerland. What do you want to know?
Just completed T28 6.1 Highline conversion and have not driven abroad for a long time. Was planning through tunnel and motorway most of the way. Been invited for Christmas but weather is a factor putting me off?

It’s never been a problem. But we’re a 4mot with cross climate tyres. That said, you see loads of big MoHos in the ski areas and they’re 2wd and huge compared to a Transporter. You just need to be prepared, 3pmsf snowflake tyres and snow chains. Are you camping in the van or is it just a mode of transport? It’s all perfectly doable and easier than winter driving in the UK. They are geared up for it and everything keeps operating during the snow season, buses/shops/schools, business as normal. Don’t stress it.
