Stide Bed system

Yes I've got the rattle and plan to do the same, I almost thought about putting the Dodo sound deadening sheets in the base for the rattling

Mine so far is ok. When travelling over bumps the seat makes a noise. Rattling. Its not the base but seat that lifts up. I'll try and resolve it by putting sticky pads around the moving joints to deaden it.
There is a screw, like a bump stop on the same side as the lever. If you tighten that up, it might help. Did on mine.

If you fold the seat base open, you'll see a screw in each corner of the metal frame. Check those are tightened up, they can make a tinny rattle.

I'd expect so, although I'm not certain they all actually achieve anything and could be there for other purposes, i.e. if it is on a sliding base.

The one in the pic above does need to be there I'd say.

Yes I'm having similar issues - after less than a year the locking mechanism has become spongy, and I'm having rattle and squeak issues on the move. Interestingly they stop if I put the back in to the bed position, so I wonder if the weight of the back when upright on the less supported rear of the frame causes it to wobble?? I may try a wedge on the rear of the frame to support it and see if that stops the noises when the back is upright, and I need to consider whether the locking mechanism feels positive enough to do its job in the event of a crash.

If I take a video of where squeaks are coming from and send it privately then maybe we can share a resolution. It's only heard when on uneven surfaces.
