Hi guys,
I’ve been mulling over for a while whether to buy this light kit and finally made the decision when beacons and light bars offered an 8% discount on them, so I bought them. Shame I totally forgot about Black Friday, Stealth LED offered 10% discount a few days after I bought mine….ah well….
Anyway, I’ve fitted them to Big Black and they look like the picture below. The figment is straightforward with the brackets being fixed to the existing bonnet bracket hinges, then the light units being fixed to the new brackets. The wiring loom is plug and play, comes with ample cable lengths remote control and switch snd a full fitting kit. The hardest part of the install was routing the switch wire through the firewall and routing the cable and switch into a good position. I originally wanted to mount the switch in the existing button blanks, but my hands and fingers far too big for getting the cable behind the dash and into position so settled for the switch just beside the lower dash trim next to my knee on the drivers side. Works well. Not as aesthetically pleasing but functional.
I’m now on the lookout for slimline behind grille LED lights. Although I love the grille lights, I’m after something a bit more stealth. Haven’t seen anything suitable so far for this. Also want some rear LED work lights too. But as stealthy as possible. Again haven’t found anything yet. Having a pop top roof also making things a bit more difficult. Will keep looking.
